Si plusieurs \u00e9tudes scientifiques ont montr\u00e9 que la paroi protectrice de l\u2019intestin pouvait \u00eatre franchie par les MNP, le m\u00e9canisme qui leur permet de franchir la barri\u00e8re h\u00e9mato-enc\u00e9phalique \u00e9tait jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent inconnu de la science.<\/p>\n<p>Les nanoplastiques sont d\u00e9finis comme \u00e9tant d\u2019une taille inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 0,001 millim\u00e8tre, tandis qu\u2019entre 0,001 et 5 millim\u00e8tres certains microplastiques sont visibles \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153il nu. Les particules de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsendip.com\/fr\/un-traite-international-pour-lutter-contre-la-pollution-plastique\/\">plastique<\/a> peuvent entrer dans la cha\u00eene alimentaire de diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res, notamment par le biais des emballages ou m\u00eame en buvant de l\u2019eau provenant de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsendip.com\/fr\/une-bouteille-en-verre-aurait-elle-provoque-lincendie-dun-immeuble-entier-a-milan\/\">bouteilles<\/a> en plastique.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019an dernier, une \u00e9tude avait montr\u00e9 que nous mangions jusqu\u2019\u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.euronews.com\/green\/2022\/06\/15\/quelle-quantite-de-plastique-consommez-vous-jusqu-a-une-carte-de-credit-par-semaine\">5 grammes de micro et nanoplastiques par semaine<\/a> et que les personnes qui buvaient 1.5 \u00e0 2 litres d\u2019eau par jour dans des bouteilles en plastique ing\u00e9raient 90,000 particules de plastique par&nbsp;an.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9quipe de scientifiques a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019assimilation \u00e0 court terme de micro et nanoparticules de polystyr\u00e8ne (9,55 microm\u00e8tres \u2013 soit 0,0096 millim\u00e8tre \u2013 1,14\u202f\u00b5m et 0,293\u202f\u00b5m) administr\u00e9es par voie orale \u00e0 des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsendip.com\/fr\/une-invasion-de-souris-oblige-a-des-transferts-de-prisonniers-en-australie\/\">souris<\/a>. Les nanoparticules ont franchi la paroi intestinale et atteint le cerveau rapidement, deux heures seulement apr\u00e8s l\u2019ingestion. En revanche, les particules de plus de 0,293 microm\u00e8tre (0,000293\u202fmm) n\u2019ont pas atteint le cerveau, ce qui sugg\u00e8re que la taille peut \u00eatre un facteur primordial dans leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 p\u00e9n\u00e9trer le syst\u00e8me neuronal.<\/p>\n<h2>La taille des nanoplastiques et la couronne biomol\u00e9culaire influencent l\u2019absorption<\/h2>\n<p>Par ailleurs, l\u2019\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les biomol\u00e9cules qui s\u2019accumulent \u00e0 la surface des particules de plastique, formant ainsi une couronne biomol\u00e9culaire autour d\u2019elles, peuvent avoir une influence sur la travers\u00e9e de la membrane.<\/p>\n<p>Avant de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans l\u2019organisme, les particules de micro-organismes acqui\u00e8rent une couronne de mati\u00e8re organique et de composants chimiques et biologiques dont la composition est complexe et variable.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u202f<em>\u00c0 l\u2019aide de mod\u00e8les informatiques, nous avons d\u00e9couvert qu\u2019une certaine structure de surface (couronne biomol\u00e9culaire) \u00e9tait cruciale pour permettre aux particules de plastique de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans le cerveau\u202f\u00bb<\/em>, explique Oldamur Holl\u00f3czki, du d\u00e9partement de chimie physique de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Debrecen.<\/p>\n<p>Les mol\u00e9cules de cholest\u00e9rol sur une couronne am\u00e9liorent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsendip.com\/fr\/des-chercheurs-autrichiens-decouvrent-que-la-laitue-absorbe-et-stocke-des-particules-de-pneus-dans-ses-feuilles\/\">l\u2019absorption des nanoplastiques<\/a> dans la membrane, ce qui signifie que les particules passent plus facilement la barri\u00e8re h\u00e9mato-enc\u00e9phalique.
