An unknown woman was found cut into pieces in northern Italy. She has now been identified as a 26-year-old Italian mother and porn actress. The alleged murderer confessed his crime, kept her in her freezer before dumping her in nature and even used her own phone and car.

On Sunday, March 20, a local resident of Paline di Borno noticed four black plastic bags thrown as garbage close to a hilly road between the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo. The bags looked different than rubbish some people usually illegally dump in the area. The man decided to open one of them and discovered a hand. The bags abandoned in nature actually contained a female body cut into 15 pieces.
The unidentified body had been dumped near the rural Italian village of 75 people in the Alps’ Val Camonica valley in northern Italy.
The woman had 11 tattoos on her body which made her distinguishable. Police released images of the tattoos hoping someone would recognize her. For instance, she had a large leopard-print tattoo on her right buttock, visible on social media posts and videos (image available at the end of the article).
A week later, her identity became known and the suspect was arrested by local Police.
Carol Maltesi, also known as Charlotte Angie in the porn industry
The alleged murderer voluntarily showed up at the police station to provide information about the missing woman but eventually confessed his crime.
The deceased woman has been identified as Carol Maltesi, a 26-year-old Italian woman and mother of a 6‑year-old boy. She lived in Rescaldina, a commune part of the Metropolitan City of Milan.
But she was also known under the pseudonym Charlotte Angie in the porn industry.
From 2018 to 2021, she was a sales assistant at the fashion store Parfois in Milan. She however started releasing adult content during a lockdown and then moved full-time into the porn industry.
The local publication Brescia news has notably investigated and helped authorities identify the woman. A source contacted the digital news portal after having seen pictures of the body in a newspaper. The tattoos looked similar to the woman he had heard being interviewed on a popular radio show, LaZanzara, last December where she talked about her life as a porn actress. He had looked up pictures of her on the Internet.
The publication turned over the information they gathered to the Police last Sunday, which proved helpful to the investigation.
The reporters got Carol Maltesi’s personal phone number and made contact with her on March 26 via WhatsApp. But the alleged murderer was actually impersonating her using her cell phone and answering text messages sent by Brescia news. S/he said having left the porn industry but didn’t give vocal proof of her identity.
He came to the police station to provide information about the missing person, before confessing his crime
According to La Repubblica, the man said almost no one tried to get in touch with her, except her mother and her former partner, only by text and never by phone calls. Her son lives with his father. The alleged murderer would have even paid the rent for her when she was dead.
The man came to the Police as a worried friend and neighbor of the victim on Monday in order to provide information about the missing person. But information proved contradictory to the elements gathered by the investigation.
He actually said she considered leaving the porn industry, similar to what was sent to Brescia news. Yet, in a YouTube interview in November 2021, she said she wanted to pursue a career that she loved in 2022 with a goal to become a porn actress in the United States in the future.
Moreover, the police were also able to find proof he was in the area of Paline di Borno on March 20. A street surveillance camera caught him on the day of the discovery close to the area where she was dumped. He was actually driving the victim’s car.
The man eventually confessed to the crime.
The alleged murderer would have killed the woman in January after a fight, hidden the corpse in the own victim’s freezer and dumped her after having cut her into 15 pieces.
He is reportedly identified as Davide Fontana, a 43-old-man, a neighbor and former partner of the victim, who works as a bank employee. He has been arrested and charged on three counts of aggravated voluntary homicide, destruction and concealment of a human corpse.
Authorities are still investigating to get more clarity on the circumstances of the death.
Update: In the order of detention filled by the judge for preventive detention Angela Corvi detailing the confessions, the banker couldn’t accept she could live far from him. She thought about leaving Rescaldina to get closer to her son near Verone. Davide Fontana, had briefly been in a couple with her but was still having casual sex with the victim.
